Born in Reisterstown, MD we have Billy Lyve a promoter, solo artist, and frontman of the brand new multi genre band iLL LuCK. As a promoter, he has coordinated promotions for events that featured nationally known artist such as: Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Wu-Tang Clan, Juicy J, ASAP ROCKY, Mint Condition, J Cole, Yelawolf, KRS-One, and many others in every genre of music. Since 2010, he has received the Baltimore Crown Award for Promoter of The Year four consecutive years in a row and in 2011; he received the DMV Award for Promoter of The Year. In addition, his band, iLL Luck, received the award for Band of The Year at the 2013 Baltimore Crown Awards.
He is also the owner Wisdom Court Entertainment, which hosts 2-3 monthly events in Baltimore city and the surrounding counties. These events feature various genres including Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B and EDM. Collectively, he has sold thousands of copies of his first few album releases, and with the advancement of new technologies, has taken advantage of free music downloads online to reach a larger fan base. With a unique sound that infuses Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, and EDM, iLL LuCK has recently been gaining a lot of exposure in the Baltimore music scene. The band consists of DJ Cliffstarr, Ambush (Artist), Supaman (drummer), and Nic Richards (guitarist). The band also features several vocalists including Mai Henderson, Karron Johnson, and Andrea Molina. iLL LuCK’s influences include, but are not limited to Rage Against the Machine, Eminem, Linkin Park, 2pac, and Nas. Recently, iLL LuCK opened for a sold out show in Baltimore featuring MGK. As a solo artist, Billy Lyve has opened for Rakim, Hopsin, Talib Kweli, Skyzoo, Cappadonna, Project Pat, Ill Bill, and more.
Music isn’t the only thing Billy Lyve is involved in; he is also the founder of Wisdom Court Kids Club, which was officially registered in 2011, and is a prominent organization dedicated to giving back to the community through sponsored events for children throughout the year. This is nothing new for Billy Lyve or Wisdom Court, as they have been hosting events such as: Teen Nights, Birthday parties, Adopting families for Christmas and Easter Egg Hunts for years. With an ever-growing fan base of all ages and races, Billy Lyve is not only the epitome of an unsigned artist; he has proven to be much more.
Previously signed to Capitol Records through Block Entertainment, Pullover Music Group artist and Atlanta native Kollosus looks to leave an impression on 2015 with the release of his new single “Spend It In Cash.” The Guap Boi-produced single will appear on Kollosus’ upcoming mixtape, which is currently scheduled to drop this summer.
